He flew in a plane a million miles away,
staring out the window with his head in the clouds,
wondering what she was doing right about now.
Was she dancing in the kitchen using a spoon as a mic?
Was she on the phone with her friend chatting about her day with a glass of wine at her side?
Or, was she crying her eyes out in the middle of the night,
while hugging his pillow that she sprayed with his cologne
to replace him for the weeks that he was gone?
The thought of her alone made him want to hold her close.
Even if she was sad and lonely, he knew that he was missing her the most.
